Are you a NYCHA resident that is interested in starting or building your construction career? Register to attend a free four day Supported Scaffold User, Dot Flagger, and Security Guard training.

4-Day Training Certifications:

4- hour Flagger certification

4-hour Supported Scaffold User certification

8 and 16-hour Security certification

Fire Guard test preparation

Fingerprinting and NYS license

Training Times:

Tuesday, June 11^th   from 9:00am – 5:30pm

Wednesday, June 12^th-14^th, 2024 from 9:00am – 5:00pm

Location will be provided to residents via confirmation email.

Requirements:

• NYCHA residents are encouraged to apply, and priority will be given to Manhattanville residents.
• At least 18 years of age
• Must have a current 30-hour OSHA and 10-hour SST certifications.
• Able to participate in person.
• Must commit all four days of training to receive certifications.

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events”on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
7.    Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): Security Guard and Flagger Training 6-11-2024
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
