Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) in partnership with REES will be hosting The Civil Service 101 Information Session to share information about City government jobs, the examination, and application process. 

You will learn how you can work for the City of New York, and how to find the opportunities that align with you career goals whether you are entry-leveled or experienced.

Eligibility:

  • Age 18 and up
  • NYC residents eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Interest in a career with city government

 

Date: Thursday, April 18, 2024

Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm

Location: Zoom

Once registered, you will receive details on how to join the Zoom Session. 

 

HOW TO REGISTER:

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column
  7.  Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): DCAS Recruitment 4-18-2024
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all your scheduled events.
