For Employment assistance

  • Must be 18+ have a photo ID
  • Have several copies of your resume

For HRA benefits

  • Household Composition Letter
  • NYCHA letter of rent owed & rent bill
  • Proof of Income (Last 4 pay stubs or Letter of Employment)
  • Rent Receipts Identification (ID, Social Security Card, & Birth Certificate
  • School Enrollment Letter (if applicable)
  • Social Security Award Letter (if applicable)
  1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select Brownsville HRA & Jobs Plus Resource Fair 6-23-2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
