Andromeda Community Initiative Inc. (ACI), in partnership with NYCHA REES, will host an in-person information session at their Long Island City training facility about the free 8-week Green Construction training program. The course is from January 6, 2025, through February 28, 2025.
ACI’s Green Construction Training Program Certifications Include:
- NYC DOB 10-Hour Site Safety Training Card (SST)
- 30-Hour OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Training
- NYC DOB 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User
- NYC DOB 16-Hour Suspended Scaffold User
- Andromeda Academy 2-Hour Silica Awareness Training
- DOT 4-Hour Flaggers
- GPRO-M
- EPA 608 Refrigerants
Program Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Interest in the construction industry
- Seeking full-time work
- Comfortable working at heights

Date: Thursday, December 12, 2024
Time: 2:00 p.m. (Please arrive between 1:45pm-2:00pm for sign-in. Meeting lasts about two hours.)
Location: ACI’s Training Facility, 49-27 31st Street, Queens, NY 11101 (warehouse entrance)
