Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have photo identification for date of birth verification.
- OSHA 30 & SST
- Local 638 (Steamfitters)
- Local 1 (Plumbers)
- Local 3 (Electricians)
Job Descriptions:
Steamfitters: Perform installation, connection, repair, and testing of heating, boiler, hydronic, steam, and mechanical piping systems. Read construction drawings and specifications; install pipe, valves, fittings, supports, and related equipment; perform welding and pipe fitting as required; coordinate work with other trades; and comply with NYCHA, OSHA, NYC DOB, and project safety requirements.
Plumbers: Install, assemble, repair, and test plumbing, water, waste, vent, drainage, and related piping systems. Read construction drawings and specifications; install pipe, valves, fittings, supports, fixtures, and equipment; coordinate with other trades; and comply with NYCHA, OSHA, NYC DOB, and project safety requirements.
Electricians: Install, connect, repair, and test electrical wiring, conduit, panels, fixtures, controls, and related equipment. Read construction drawings and specifications; bend and install conduit; pull and terminate conductors; troubleshoot systems; coordinate with other trades; and comply with NYCHA, OSHA, NYC DOB, NYC Electrical Code, and project safety requirements.
