CDW in partnership with REES is hosting an in-person training event focusing on AI.

Topics will include:

  1. Understanding Generative AI
  2. Prompt design and improving prompts

Date: Friday, February 27, 2026

Time: 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

Location:  Near downtown Brooklyn. This training will take place in person.  Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with the specific location of the class.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old

Must be an authorized NYCHA Resident

Those who RSVP will receive an email notification with location information prior to the event.  Please confirm that your email and telephone number is correct in the NYCHA Self-Service online system to receive event notifications.  If you need assistance, please contact the REES hotline at (718) 289-8100.

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

  1. Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
  2. Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
  3. Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
  4. Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
  5. Select CDW AI Training 2/27/2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.
  6. You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
  7. Click “RSVP”.

Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
