Resident Business Development Orientation – FastTrac New Venture

Join NYCHA REES and NYC Department of Small Business Services (SBS) at a virtual workshop, via Zoom, on February 18th at 12 PM for the first Resident Business Development Orientation of 2026! Learn about REES business development supports and the NYC SBS FastTrac New Venture entrepreneurship bootcamps for starting or growing a business in any industry. Whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or a current business owner seeking guidance, this workshop will connect you with the tools and support you need to thrive.

Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026

Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

Location: Virtual. The Zoom meeting link will be shared via email 24 hours before the event starts.

Follow these steps to register for this event in Opportunity Connect on the NYCHA self-service portal:

1.  Register for online access and/or log in to the NYCHA self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/
2.  Once you are logged in, click on “Manage Your Account.”
3.  Click on the “Opportunity Connect” icon.
4.  Go to “Upcoming Events” on the left menu.
5.  Select Event Plan:  RBD Orientation February 2026 on the list of upcoming events and click on “view details”.
6.  You must read and confirm the “Information Sharing and Consent Statement” to continue to the final RSVP step.
7.  Click “RSVP”.
8.        Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP.

 Note: In Opportunity Connect you can check “My Events” on the left menu at any time to see all your scheduled events. You can also cancel or reschedule.
