Expand your opportunities. A high school equivalency diploma can help with college, training programs and careers goals. Prepare with a REES partner to pass the GED.

The GED is back as New York State’s exam to earn your high school equivalency diploma! Your exam will cover 4 subject areas:

• Reading Language Arts (RLA)
• Math
• Science
• Social Studies

REES will connect you to a program. REES’ project manager in the adult education and training unit can assist you.

Thursday, May 23, 2024, 6PM – 7PM

Via Zoom – Zoom link will be emailed after you’ve registered for this event.

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
5. Select “Query.”
6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): “HSE Information Session 5/23/2024 6PM”
8. Press Enter.
9. Click “View Details.“
10. Click “RSVP.“
11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
