Harlem Health Advocacy Partners (HHAP) is looking to hire NYCHA residents for the following full-time salaried positions:
Community Health Organizer
- Support the development and implementation of community workshops and forums
- Promote and mobilize HHAP sponsored events and services, wellness activities and the resident Community Action Team ( CAT)
- Assist in identifying community resources to participate in Community Action Team ( CAT) planning meetings
- Assist with the recruitment and enrollment of participants for the HHAP services
Requirements:
- Open to Residents who live in King Towers, Johnson Houses, Clinton House, Taft Houses, and Lehman Village
- Must have an updated resume
- Must be flexible schedule
- Strong commitment to social justice, collective action and community organizing
- Interest in improving the quality of life among NYCHA residents
- Be familiar with the Central Harlem/East Harlem community
