Learn about the Young Adult Literacy Program (YALP)
for NYCHA residents ages 16-24
Stanley Isaacs Neighborhood Center is recruiting NYCHA residents o the Young Adult Literacy Program ( YALP) to provide :
- Academic classes or Every Level
- College Access
- Paid Internships
Enrollment Requirements:
- Must take TABE Test
- Between 16 and 24 years old
- NOT a High School graduate
- US citizen Permanent Resident, or Refugee
- New York State Resident for a year ( prior to enrollment)
What to expect at the Information Session:
- Learn about the application process and eligibility requirements
- Residents interested will be able to take the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) onsite following the Info Session

- Click “RSVP.“
- Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
