MediaMKRS is launching the Media Career Pathways to educate and train out-of-school and out-of-work young adults for successful careers in the film and television industries.

The training is free and trainees will be paid a stipend for their participation.

Eligibility:

  • Age 18-26
  • Out-of-work and Out-of-school
  • NYC residents eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Interested in a career in the media and entertainment industry
  • Able to commute within the five boroughs
  • Must have demonstrated strong communication skills

HOW TO REGISTER:

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): Reel Works 2-14-2024
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
