Learn about BEOC tuition-free programs that provide professional and educational training as a pathway to a career, a high school equivalency diploma, improvement in English proficiency, or preparation for college.

ELIGIBILITY:

  1. 18 years of age or older
  2. Fewer than 33 college credits (except for ESL)
  3. United States citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee
  4. Resident of NYS for one (1) year prior to enrolling
  5. Low to moderate-income

Follow these steps to register for this event in the NYCHA self-service portal – https://selfserve.nycha.info/

  1. Register for online access & log-in to self-service portal https://selfserve.nycha.info/ which will allow you to manage your own events.
  2. Once you are logged in, Click “View Details.”
  3. Click “Opportunity Connect” on the bottom left side.
  4. Click “Upcoming Events” on the left side.
  5. Select “Query.”
  6. Go to the “Event Name” column.
  7. Type exactly as shown here (case sensitive): BEOC 2-8-2023
  8. Press Enter.
  9. Click “View Details.“
  10. Click “RSVP.“
  11. Check your email for confirmation once you RSVP. Check “My Events” to see all of your scheduled events.
